Standard: The transformers are manufactured in accordance with IS 2147 - 3043 or as per customer's requirements.
Range: Upto 2000 KVA (6.6 KV 11KV 22KV 33KV)
Vector Group & Tappings: The transformers are connected as per vector group reference Dyn 11 in accordance with international practice. Tappings are provided with +/- 5% in steps of 2.5% or as per customer's requirements.
Core: It is made out of CRGO sheet steel of prime quality having 0.277 mm thickness (M Grade). This material is pre-tested & core is built. This ensures low iron losses as per standards or customer's specifications.
Windings: Double/Triple paper covered (DPC/TPC) electrolytic grade copper in the form of round wires or rectangular strips are used for winding the coils.
Insulation: Oil immersed transformers are insulated by electrical grade insulated press board & thermally upgraded insulating paper.
Oil: Dehydrated EHV-Grade transformers oil as per IS 355 is used for proper insulation & cooling after testing all parameters.
Termination: The quality porcelain bushings are used on high voltage / low voltage side terminals. Cable boxes are also provided as per customer's requirements.
Tank: The tanks are made from CRCA/HR sheets with adequate thickness. The welding is done using DC welding rectifiers / invertors. This ensures proper fusion of metal with high quality leak proof joints. Sufficient radiators are provided to take care of cooling of the transformers. All the tanks are pressure tested, ensuring no leakage. The tanks are de-greased & phosphated prior to painting.
Painting: The external surfaces of transformers are given a primary coat of zinc chromate primer & two finishing coats of synthetic enameled paint. The inner surface coat is given a coat of oil & heat resistant paint.
Testing: Transformers are tested for all the routine tests as per IS 2026 with all the modern testing facilities. A 3ph power analyzer meter is used for measurement of losses. All the equipments are periodically calibrated from NABCL accredited labs.
All type testing can be arranged at NABCL accredited labs such as ERDA or CPRI.
